Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

REMOTE CONTROL (OPTIONAL) The appliance can be controlled using a remote control powered by a 1.5 V carbon-zinc alkaline batteries of the standard LR03-AAA type. â¢ Do not place the remote control near to heat sources. â¢ Used batteries must be disposed of in the proper manner.
CLEANING OF THE METAL CASSETTE FILTERS Alarm reset â¢ Stop the motor. â¢ Press the F -touch control for at least 4 seconds until the T1 -touch control flashes. Cleaning the filters â¢ Filters can be washed in the dish machine. They need to be washed every 2 months or even more frequently in case of particularly intensive use of the hood. â¢ Remove the filters one by one pushing them towards the back side of the unit and simultaneously pulling downwards. â¢ Any kind of bending of the filters has to be avoided when washing them. Before fitting them again into the hood make sure that they are completely dry. â¢ When fitting the filters into the hood pay attention that they are mounted in correct position and that the handle faces outwards.
