Something not working?
Before contacting your local Service Force Centre, check your machine against the simple maintenance guidelines given below.
â¢ The machine does not start up:
â¢ The door is not firmly closed. â¢ The machine is not plugged in or there is no power at the socket. â¢ The main fuse has blown. â¢ The programme selector is not positioned correctly or the programme selector knob has not been pulled out.
â¢ The machine does not fill:
â¢ The water tap is closed. â¢ The inlet hose is squashed or kinked. â¢ The filter in the inlet hose is blocked. â¢ The door is not properly closed.
â¢ The machine fills then empties immediately: â¢ The machine does not empty and/or does not spin:
â¢ The end of the drain hose is too low. Refer to relevant paragraph in âwater drainageâ section. â¢ The drain hose is squashed or kinked. â¢ The option NO SPIN has been selected. â¢ The laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. â¢ The drainage area is blocked. Clean it. â¢ The option RINSE HOLD has been selected..
â¢ There is water on the floor:
â¢ Too much detergent or unsuitable detergent (creates too much foam) has been used. â¢ Check whether there are any leaks from one of the inlet hose fittings. It is not always easy to see this as the water runs down the hose; check to see if it is damp. â¢ The drain hose is damaged. â¢ Check that the diaphragm lid is correctly screwed into place.
â¢ Unsatisfactory washing results:
â¢ Too little detergent or unsuitable detergent has been used. â¢ Stubborn stains have not been treated prior to washing. â¢ The correct temperature was not selected. â¢ Excessive laundry load.
â¢ The machine vibrates or is noisy:
â¢ The transit bolts and packing have not been removed. â¢ The support feet have not been adjusted. â¢ The laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. â¢ Maybe there is very little laundry in the drum.
â¢ The door will not open:
â¢ The programme is still running. â¢ The door lock has not been released. â¢ There is water in the drum.
If, after above checks, there is still a fault, call your Local Service Centre. Please, make sure you give the purchasing date and the Model, Product number (Prod.Noâ¦) and Serial number (Ser. Noâ¦) of the appliance. (These data will be found in the adhesive card behind the door of clothes charging). 13
