Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Something not working?
Problems which you can resolve yourself.
â¢ The machine does not start up:
â¢ Check that the door is firmly closed. â¢ Check that the machine is plugged in and that there is power at the socket. â¢ Check that the main fuse has not blown. â¢ Check that the programme selector dial is positioned correctly. â¢ Check that the ON/OFF button has been depressed.
â¢ The machine does not fill:
â¢ Check that the water tap is open. â¢ Check that water is coming out of the tap. â¢ Check that the inlet hose is not squashed or kinked. â¢ Check that the filter in the inlet hose is not blocked. â¢ Check that the door is closed.
â¢ The machine fills then empties immediately: â¢ The machine does not empty and/or does not spin:
â¢ The end of the drain hose is too low. Refer to relevant paragraph in âwater drainageâ section. â¢ Check that the drain hose is not squashed or kinked. â¢ A programme which ends with water in tub has been selected. â¢ The filter is clogged. Clean it. â¢ Too much detergent or unsuitable detergent (creates too much foam) has been used. â¢ Check whether there are any leaks from one of the inlet hose fittings. It is not always easy to see this as the water runs down the hose; check to see if it is damp. â¢ Check that the drain hose is not damaged.
â¢ There is water on the floor:
â¢ The machine vibrates or is noisy:
â¢ Check that all the transit bolts and packing have been removed. â¢ Check that the machine is not resting against anything. â¢ Check that the support feet are resting firmly on the ground. â¢ Check that the laundry is evenly distributed in the drum. â¢ Maybe there is very little laundry in the drum.
