Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.
Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.
An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Difetti che si possono eliminare senza l�intervento di un tecnico. Durante il funzionamento della macchina può succedere che lampeggi la spia del tasto AVVIO/PAUSA ed uno dei seguenti codici di allarme sul display: E10: difficoltà di carico acqua E20: difficoltà di scarico E40: oblò aperto Dopo aver rimosso le eventuali cause, premere il pulsante �AVVIO/PAUSA� per riavviare il programma interrotto. Se non è stato possibile eliminarle rivolgersi al centro di assistenza più vicino.
Anomalie � La macchina non si mette in moto:
Cause possibili
� L�oblò non è ben chiuso. (E40) � La macchina non riceve corrente. � Il fusibile dell�impianto domestico è danneggiato. � Non è stato selezionato un programma e poi premuto il pulsante AVVIO/PAUSA. � � stata scelta l�opzione �PROGRAMMAZIONE PARTENZA�.
� La macchina non carica acqua:
� Il rubinetto dell�acqua è chiuso. (E10) � Non esce acqua dal rubinetto. (E10) � Il tubo di alimentazione è incastrato o piegato. (E10) � Il filtrino del tubo di alimentazione è ostruito. (E10) � L'oblò non è chiuso. (E40)
� La macchina carica acqua e la scarica immediatamente: � La macchina non scarica e/o non centrifuga:
� L�estremità del tubo di scarico si trova troppo in basso rispetto alla macchina. Vedere il relativo paragrafo nel capitolo «scarico» a pag 6. � Il tubo di scarico è incastrato o piegato. (E20) � Il tubo di scarico o la pompa sono intasati. (E20) � � stato scelto un programma con l�opzione acqua in vasca + . � � stata selezionata l�opzione NIGHT CYCLE. � Il carico di biancheria non è ben distribuito nel cesto.
� C�è acqua per terra:
� C�è troppo detersivo o è stato usato un detersivo non adatto (fa troppa schiuma). � Ci sono perdite da una delle ghiere del tubo di alimentazione. � difficile vedere l�acqua correre lungo il tubo, controllare se è umido. � Il tappo della pompa di scarico è danneggiato. � Il filtro di scarico non è stato riavvitato a fondo dopo la pulizia o il tubicino non è stato chiuso con il proprio tappo.
� Il risultato del lavaggio non è soddisfacente:
� � stato usato poco detersivo o un detersivo non adatto. � Le macchie �difficili� non sono state sottoposte ad un trattamento preliminare. � Non è stata scelta la temperatura giusta, abbinata al programma corretto. � Il cesto è sovraccarico.
