Genuine Toshiba owner's manual. Couldn't really ask for more. And written in understandable English in contrast to a few recent experiences I have had with manuals for other equipment other than Toshiba but made in China and written in "Chinglish"!

4 Option buttons
Depending on the programme, different functions can be combined. These must be selected after choosing the desired programme and before depressing the ââStart/Pauseâ button. When these buttons are pressed, the corresponding pilot lights come on. When they are pressed again, the pilot lights go out. If an incorrect option is selected, the pilot lights flash for about 2 seconds and the message Err is displayed and the acoustic signal sounds. Press these buttons to select the following options: ⢠Prewash: select this option if you wish your laundry to be prewashed before the main wash. The prewash cycle ends with a short spin at 650 r.p.m. in programmes for cotton and synthetics, and with emptying of the water for delicates. This option is not available with the wool and hand wash programmes. For use when washing heavily soiled laundry. ⢠Quick wash: this option can be used for lightly soiled laundry in order to obtain a good washing programme in a short time. This option is not available with the wool and hand wash programme, the Energy saving programme (B and D), and âShort cycleâ . ⢠Night cycle: when you choose this option, the machine will not drain the water of the last rinse, so as not to wrinkle the laundry. As all spinning phases are suppressed, this washing cycle is very quiet and it can be useful at night or in hours with more economical power rate. On cotton and synthetic programmes the rinses will be performed with more water. At the end of the cycle, the light corresponding to the option NIGHT CYCLE and the RINSE HOLD pilot phase light are on, the START/PAUSE button light goes out and the door is blocked to indicate that the water must be drained. A blinking zero will appear on the display. To empty out water there are 2 possibilities: - Select (drain) programme : the water is emptied out without spinning. - Select the (spin) or the (delicate spin). Select the spin speed by means of the relevant button and then depress the START/PAUSE button. The water is emptied out and the laundry is spun at the selected spin speed. Attention! Before selecting programme , or the selector dial has to be positioned on O.
⢠Super rinse: this option can be selected with all programmes, except the wool programme and hand wash. The machine will add 2 rinses to the selected programme. This option is recommended for people who are allergic to detergents, and areas where the water is very soft. ⢠Easy iron: selecting this button the laundry is gently washed and spun to avoid any creasing. In this way ironing is easier. Furthermore the machine will perform 6 rinses instead of 3 for cotton and 4 rinses instead of 3 for synthetics. This function can be used for cotton and synthetic fabrics. For cottons maximum spin speed is automatically reduced to 900 rpm.
5 DELAY START button
The wash programme can be delayed from 30 min â 60 min â 90 min, 2 hours and then by 1 hour up to a maximum of 23 hours by means of this button.
