I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. ShowView
ShowView greatly simplifies entering the date, channel, start and end times of a Timer Recording by simply entering a ShowView Code. ShowView Codes are published in most TV guide magazines; they can vary one to nine numbers in length.
Make sure that TV channels have been tuned and stored in correct SHOWVIEW order. Insert a video cassette with protection tab into your VCR.
Press SHOWVIEW.
Press D or E to select the recording type. ONCE: To record once.

Press the numbered buttons to enter the ShowView Code of the TV programme that you wish to record. If you make a mistake press F then enter the revised number.
