Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

I am happy to get a rare TECHNICS SH-9090 Owner's Manual by PDF in clear copy.
GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Hand guard Mufï¬er
The hand guard prevents hands from coming into contact with the moving blades, for example, if the operator loses grip on the front handle.
The mufï¬er is designed to keep noise levels to a minimum and to direct exhaust fumes away from the user. A mufï¬er ï¬tted with a catalytic converter is also designed to reduce harmful exhaust gases.
Check that the hand guard is ï¬tted correctly. Check that the hand guard is undamaged.
In countries that have a warm and dry climate there is a signiï¬cant risk of ï¬re. We therefore ï¬t certain mufï¬ers with a spark arrestor mesh. Check whether the mufï¬er on your machine is ï¬tted with this kind of mesh.
Vibration damping system
Your machine is equipped with a vibration damping system that is designed to minimize vibration and make operation easier. The machineâ²s vibration damping system reduces the transfer of vibration between the engine unit/cutting equipment and the machineâ²s handle unit. The engine body including the blades is suspended on the handlebar system via a four springs.
For mufï¬ers it is very important that you follow the instructions on checking, maintaining and servicing your machine. Never use a machine that has a faulty mufï¬er.
Regularly check the vibration damping units for cracks or deformation. Check that the vibration damping element is undamaged and securely attached. WARNING! Overexposure to vibration can lead to circulatory damage or nerve damage in people who have impaired circulation. Contact your doctor if you experience symptoms of overexposure to vibration. Such symptoms include numbness, loss of feeling, tingling, pricking, pain, loss of strength, changes in skin colour or condition. These symptoms normally appear in the ï¬ngers, hands or wrists. The risk increases at low temperatures.
Regularly check that the mufï¬er is securely attached to the machine.
!
If the mufï¬er on your machine is ï¬tted with a spark arrestor mesh this must be cleaned regularly. A blocked mesh will cause the engine to overheat and may lead to serious damage.
!
WARNING! Mufï¬ers ï¬tted with catalytic converters get very hot during use and remain so for some time after stopping. This also applies at idle speed. Contact can result in burns to the skin. Remember the risk of ï¬re!
