Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

E Wir empfehlen Ihnen, das Gerat kunftig mit der Taste ¨¨ STANDBY m an der Geratefront oder Fernbedienung abzu¨ schalten. Im abgeschalteten Zustand leuchtet vorne am Gerat ein ¨ rotes Lampchen. ¨ E Einschalten konnen Sie mit der Taste ABP q/r , ¨ z , 0-9 oder durch Einschieben einer Kassette. A Achtung: Wenn Sie den Netzschalter 8 an der Seitenwand betatigen, schalten Sie das Gerat vom Stromnetz. ¨ ¨ Es sind dann keine programmierten Aufnahmen moglich. ¨ Das rote Lampchen an der Geratefront erlischt. Die ¨ ¨ Datum- und Uhreinstellungen gehen nach einiger Zeit verloren. Wir empfehlen daher, den TV-VIDEO Combi standig am ¨ Netz angeschlossen zu lassen, damit programmierte Aufnahmen und der Fernsehbetrieb moglich sind. Der ¨ benotigte Energieverbrauch ist gering. ¨ E Achtung: Falls Sie das Gerat mit dem Netzschalter 8 ¨ abschalten, sollten Sie eine eventuell eingelegte Kassette mit der Taste ? entfernen. E Wenn der TV-VIDEO Combi vom Netz getrennt ist, bleiben die Sender- und Timerdaten ca. 1 Jahr und die Uhrdaten ca. 30 Minuten gespeichert.
