I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Press the MENU button on the remote control to see the onscreen menu. Press the (CH UP) or (CH DN) buttons to highlight the FEATURES menu. Press the the (VOL+) or (VOL-) buttons to enter the FEATURES menu. Press the (CH UP) or (CH DN) buttons to highlight FREEZE. Press the the (VOL+) or (VOL-) buttons to turn FREEZE ON or OFF.

Press the MENU button repeatedly to clear the menu from the screen.
NOTE: If the picture has been frozen, follow these steps again to turn it OFF.
HELPFUL HINT
After freezing a picture on the screen, when the FREEZE control is turned OFF, the normal signal programming will be shown at present time. The signal that was being shown while the picture was frozen will not be viewable. For the FREEZE feature to be most useful, always return to the TV INSTALL menu, highlight FREEZE, then exit the menu. If you have done this, when you see a telephone number or an address that you want to write down, just press the MENU and the VOL+ or VOL- twice to turn FREEZE ON.
