Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

! AVERTISSEMENT la mise en marche car le
couple du moteur peut transmettre une certaine torsion. Mettez l�outil en marche avant de le poser sur la pièce. De même, soulevez-le avant d�en relâcher l�interrupteur. Pour prolonger la durée de l�interrupteur, évitez de le mettre sous tension et hors tension pendant que l�outil est à l�oeuvre. INTERRUPTEUR � PALETTE AVEC BLOCAGE EN POSITION D�ARR�T (Modèles 1710D et 1711D seulement) L�interrupteur à palette permet à l�utilisateur de commander les fonctions de blocage en position arrêt ainsi que la marche/arrêt. POUR D�BLOQUER L�INTERRUPTEUR ET METTRE L�OUTIL EN MARCHE, repoussez vers l�arrière le levier de libération du blocage sur arrêt afin de débloquer l�interrupteur à palette puis appuyez sur celui-ci. POUR ARR�TER L�OUTIL, relâchez la pression sur la palette. Elle est rappelée par ressort et revient automatiquement à la position d�arrêt. INTERRUPTEUR � PALETTE AVEC BLOCAGE EN POSITION D'ARRET ET DE MARCHE (Modèles 1710 et 1711 seulement) L'interrupteur à palette permet à l'opérateur de contrôler les fonctions de blocage en position d'arrêt, marche/arrêt et blocage en position de marche de l'interrupteur. POUR D�BLOQUER L'INTERRUPTEUR ET METTRE L'OUTIL EN MARCHE : Repoussez le levier commutateur vers l�arrière pour débloquer l�interrupteur marche/arrêt, puis appuyez sur l�interrupteur à palette. POUR METTRE L'OUTIL � L'ARR�T : Relâchez la pression sur le levier à palette. L'interrupteur est à Tenez l�outil à deux mains à ressort et reviendra automatiquement à la position d'arrêt. BOUTON DE BLOCAGE EN POSITION DE MARCHE (Modèles 1710 et 1711 seulement) La fonction de blocage en position de marche, incorporée dans l'interrupteur à palette, est commode pour les longues périodes d'utilisation. POUR BLOQUER L'INTERRUPTEUR EN POSITION DE MARCHE : Après avoir actionné l'interrupteur à palette, enfoncez complètement le bouton de blocage en marche, situé à l'arrière de l'outil, et relâchez l'interrupteur à palette. CHOIX DES MEULES Avant d�utiliser une meule, ! AVERTISSEMENT assurez-vous que la vitesse maximale de rotation qu�elle peut atteindre, sans compromettre la sécurité de fonctionnement, n�est pas inférieure à la vitesse en marche libre figurant sur la plaquette emblématique de l�outil. Ne choisissez pas des meules de diamètre supérieur à celui recommandé. MEULES Pour de meilleurs résultats, choisissez les meules soigneusement. Les meules diffèrent de plusieurs façons : granulométrie, composition, dureté, taille des particules et structure. Le choix de la meule est dicté par le type de travail à réaliser. Les meules sont recommandées pour le meulage rapide de l�acier de construction, des cordons de soudure prononcés, des pièces d�acier coulé, de l�acier inoxydable et d�autres métaux ferreux. CONSEILS PRATIQUES Vous aurez de meilleurs résultats si vous maîtrisez la pression sur l�outil et maintenez l�angle d�inclinaison de la meule entre 10 à 15° avec la pièce. L�outil sera difficile à man�uvrer si vous travaillez avec la meule à plat. Par contre, si la meule est trop fortement inclinée, la pression est concentrée sur une petite surface causant la brûlure de la pièce.
