Very comprehensive document which is a must-have for any Satellit 2100 owner whose set up is somewhat intricate. Due to the bad quality of the pictures that are rather dark and a bit blurred I gave 4-star feedback.

The manual was missing 2 pages but when I presented the problem to the company they made every attempt to get the 2 pages to me, when they couldn't they refunded my money. A very pleasing and easy transaction. The manual they provided was the original, it was concise and to the point. I plan to do business with this company again when should the need arise.

Irrespectively of this manual exist only germany language, it's useful - although i need some additional task to translate: My english is bad, but usable - but i really dont speak germany. :)

he parental control feature can block programs with no content advisory data. Once you have entered your password, the Parental Control features are displayed on the screen.

DOWNLOADABLE V-CHIP
his TV supports downloadable V-chip which allows you to block programs with a new, different rating region code of 0x05. This feature is ONLY available in Digital mode and if the stream contains the regional ratings table. If you are watching a digital signal with the regional ratings table, you can follow the procedures below. Once you have entered your password, the Parental Control features are displayed on the screen.

Press CURSOR or until you see Downloadable V-chip highlighted. Press CURSOR or to display the Downloadable V-chip submenu. You can see there are many items. The amount of items and their names are dependent on the signal stream received. Every page can display 8 items at most. If the stream contains more than 8 items, they will be displayed multi-paged. Press CURSOR or to select a page and press CURSOR or to highlight one item, i.e. Dim0. PressOK to enter its submenu and see all the ratings it contains. The amount of ratings and their names are dependent on the signal stream received. Every page can display 8 ratings at most. If the item contains more than 8 ratings, they will be displayed multi-paged. Press CURSOR or to select a page and press CURSOR or to highlight one rating, i.e.Abre0. Press OK to set (which will allow viewing) or (which will allow blocking). NOTE: If the ratings are graduated, locking a lower rating automatically locks all the higher ratings.

HELPFUL HINTS
If there is only one page, pressing CURSOR or does not work. ,, Reset in Downloadable V-chip menu can clear limiting of all ratings. Press C URSOR or to highlight Reset and press OK to do this. ,,
