Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Bildformate 16:9
Die Bilder, die Sie empfangen, können im Bildformat 16:9 (breiter Bildschirm) oder 4:3 (koventioneller Bildschirm) übertragen werden. Die Bilder 4:3 haben manchmal oben und unten einen schwarzen Streifen (Letterboxformat). Mit dieser Funktion können die schwarzen Streifen entfernt und die Darstellung der Bilder auf dem Bildschirm optimiert werden.
Automatische Umschaltung
Der Fernseher ist mit einer automatischen Umschaltung ausgestattet, die das von einigen Programmen gesendete Kenn- Signal dekodiert und das richtige Bildschirmformat wählt. Sie können das Format jederzeit manuell ändern.
Benutzung der verschiedenen Bildschirmformate
Die Taste ¬ oder � drücken, um die verschiedenen Funktionsarten zu wählen: 4:3, Zoom 14:9, Zoom 16:9, 16:9 Untertitel, Super Zoom und Breitbild. Zu diesen Einstellungen haben Sie auch mit der Taste p Zugang. Betriebsart 4:3 Das Bild wird im Format 4:3 wiedergegeben, ein schwarzer Streifen erscheint an jeder Seite des Bildes. Sie können das Bild allmählich vergrö�ern, indem Sie die Tasten î� drücken. Funktionsart Zoom 14:9 Das Bild ist auf das Format 14:9 vergrö�ert, ein kleiner schwarzer Streifen bleibt an jeder Seite des Bildes. Mit den Tasten î� kann das Bild nach oben oder nach unten verschoben werden, um die Untertitel sichtbar zu machen. Funktionsart Zoom 16:9 Das Bild ist auf das Format 16:9 vergrö�ert. Diese Funktionsart wird empfohlen, um ein Letterboxbild mit schwarzen Streifen oben und unten im Vollformat zu zeigen. Wenn Sie die Untertitel sehen möchten, betätigen Sie die Tasten î�. Funktionsart 16:9 Untertitel Mit dieser Funktionsart können die Bilder 4:3 auf der ganzen Bildschirmfläche gesehen werden, indem die Untertitel sichtbar bleiben. Mit den Tasten î� kann der untere Teil des Bildes nach unten oder nach oben geschoben werden. Funktionsart Super Zoom Mit dieser Funktionsart können die Bilder im Format 4:3 auf der ganzen Bildschirmfläche gesehen werden, indem beide Seiten des Bildes verbreitert werden.Wenn Sie die Untertitel sehen möchten, betätigen Sie die Tasten î�. Funktionsart Breitbild Mit dieser Funktionsart kann das richtige Bildformat, das in 16:9 übertragen wird, wieder hergestellt werden, indem es voll im Bildschirm angezeigt wird.
