I AM HIGHLY IMPRESSED BY THE EASE OF USE OF THIS DOWNLOAD SERVICE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE CLEAR AND SIMPLE TO FOLLOW....EVEN BY TECHNOPHOBES SUCH AS MYSELF. THE EMAILS POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION...ITS SO EASY PEASY. THE DOWNLOAD CHOICE OF USER MANUALS IS EXTENSIVE AND I COULD NOT FIND A CHEAPER OR MORE EFFICIENT SERVICE ON THE INTERNET. I COULD NOT HAVE MADE A BETTER CHOICE OF INFORMATION PROVIDER. SHOULD I EVER NEED ANOTHER USER MANUAL, THEN THIS IS THE FIRST CHOICE SITE. COOKTOP ¥ourrangewillfeatureeitheranupswept cooktopor a fiat cooktop.Bothtopscan be lifted upforconvenientaccessto the burnerboxarea. The flatcooktopcanbe removed.The upswept opishingedand t can be raisedbut not removed. To raise upswept cooktop: When cool, graspfront edge of cooktopand gentlyliftupuntilthetwosupportrodsat the frontof the cooktopsnap intoplace, BURNER GRATES SURFACE BURNERS Surface burners are secured in place duringtransportation with spring clips. Once the range is installed,these may be removedto allowquickand easy removalof the burner. TO REMOVE BURNER: When reinstalling square grates, place Allowburnerto cool.Liftcooktop.To reindentedsidestogethersostraightsides movebumer, liftupslightly and pullout. are at frontand rear.
To lower top: Holdfront edge of cooktop and carefully push back on each supportrodto releasethe notchedsupport, Then gently lowertop into place. The supportrodswillslideintotherange Burnergratesare durablebutmay lose frame, their shinedue to usage and hightemperatures. To remove flat cooktop: When cool, first remove grates and drip bowls, if equipped.Grasp twofront burnerwells and liftup.

The top can be completely removed or, if equipped with a metal suppport rod, can rest on the rod. Support rod is located across the front of the burner box.
