Using the Self-Timer 1. Use a tripod (tripod socket [15]) or place the camera on another firm support. 2. Lift the lens cover/flash (2), � completely up. 3. Press the self-timer button (11). The self-timer lamp (3) will �blink� for 10 seconds before the picture is taken. NOTE: If you want to stop the self-timer operation before the picture is taken, press the self-timer button again or close the lens cover/flash.
