Manual was complete and available promptly, since I had lost my original manual. Very good response.

Whilst this is a photo copy, and some of the pages are a little askew, it was all readable and intact. A real bonus finding an old manual for a classic piece of kit that no other site had.

Installation
æ Installing
the TV set
Place your TV set on a solid, stable surface (please ensure this is strong enough). Do not place anything on the TV set which might damage it (plants or heat sources). For ventilation allow a space of at least 5cm around the TV set.
� Connecting
the aerial and the mains
Insert the aerial plug into the socket M at the rear of the set. Insert the mains plug into a wall socket (220-240 V/50 Hz).

Surround loudspeakers
Connect the 2 Surround loudspeakers as illustrated opposite.The loudspeakers should be located at the rear or on either side of the listener (always connect 2 loudspeakers).The positive wire (the one with the black line) to the red loudspeaker connection, the negative wire to the black loudspeaker connection.
® Remote
control
Insert the 2 LR03-type batteries (supplied) making sure they are the right way around. In an effort to help protect the environment the batteries supplied with this television do not contain mercury or nickel cadmium. If a means of recycling batteries is available, please use this (if in doubt, contact your dealer).
â� Switching
on
Press the on/off key to switch on the television. A green indicator comes on and the screen lights up. If the indicator is red, press the key on the remote control. When the remote control is being used the indicator flashes orange.
