I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Connection for recording from the TV channel
AV sockets on rear of TV
VCR (Equipped with Video and Audio Input sockets � Connect the corresponding INPUT sockets of the VCR to the MONITOR OUTPUT sockets on the rear of the TV. � To enhance the sound of your TV, connect the AUDIO L and R sockets to an external audio system instead of the VCR. For mono equipment, connect only the AUDIO L socket.
