Betjeningsknappen har skalaring med markeringer. Slukket stilling: Max. blus: Min. Blus.
Tænding
1. Tryk betjeningsknappen for den ønskede brænder ned. 2. Samtidig med knappen holdes nede, drejes nu venstre om til max. blus = , hvorved gassen vil strømme ud. 3. Tændelektroden vil afgive gnister, så længe betjeningsknappen holdes nede, og når blandingen af gas og luft er korrekt, tændes brænderen. Er der ikke mulighed for eltilslutning, tændes der med f.eks tændstik. 4. Efter brænderen er tændt, holdes betjeningsknappen nede i ca. 10 sek., så træder den automatiske termosikring igang, (termoføleren er varmet op), og De kan slippe betjeningsknappen.
