I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

HOW TO USE THE REMOTE TO CONTROL YOUR TV

TV POWER button
Press this button to turn the TV set on or off. If Message-1 or Message-2 is set, it will be displayed when the TV is first turned on. (See page 36)
CABLE/VCR/AUDIO POWER button
Once the remote is programmed, press this button to control the power to your Cable Box, VCR, or Audio Equipment, depending on the button layout of the MULTI-PAGE section of the remote control, as chosen by the MULTI-PAGE select switch. (See pages 16, 23, 24, 25)
RECALL button
When you want to check the channel being received, or if it has a stereo (ST) or second audio program (SAP), press the RECALL button. You can also check the time, and if the ON TIME or OFF TIME has been set. (See page 35)
If a video input is used:
You can also use the RECALL button to quickly clear many of the other on-screen displays.
