The service was quick and simple, finding the service manual easy and it appears to be the original with colour schematics. It contained the info I was after and so sorted the problem.

All DC voltage to be measured with a tester (100k /V). Voltage taken on a complex color bar signal including a standard color bar signal. Since this is a basic circuit diagram, the value of the parts is subject to be altered for improvement.
