Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Gerätedichtung
Schlie�t eine Gerätetür (oder ein Gerätedeckel) auch nach 2 Tagen nicht exakt, so hat dies Energieverlust und verstärkte Reifbildung im Gerät zur Folge. Sind nach einer Sichtprüfung der Dichtung Zweifel vorhanden, so kann die Dichtung wie folgt überprüft werden. Einen Streifen Zeitungspapier von 4-5 cm Breite an der zweifelhaften Stelle zwischen Dichtung und Gehäuserahmen legen und die Tür bzw. den Deckel schlie�en. Lässt sich der Streifen nun ohne den geringsten Widerstand herausziehen, muss die Dichtung an dieser Stelle nachgerichtet werden. Hierzu wird die Dichtung unter leichtem Zug mit
einem Haarfön erwärmt. Die Tür bzw. den Deckel schlie�en und Dichtung abkühlen lassen. Trägt die Dichtung an der Scharnierseite zu hoch auf, Lässt sich die Tür nicht richtig schlie�en, da die Dichtung nicht auf die Dichtfläche rutscht. Die Tür schlie�en und die Dichtung mit einem nicht scharfkantigen Kunststoff- oder Metallstreifen auf die Dichtfläche bringen. Dann wird die Dichtung mit einem Haarföhn gewärmt. Gegebenenfalls die Tür einige Stunden geschlossen lassen bis sich die Dichtung gesetzt hat.
