Yes thank you i got the file i was after. There was a slight problem in my communication but it all worked out well.

Great manual...really saved me. The only problem is that I thought I would be able to download it directly when I paid for it but never received the download instructions until the next morning. The board trace pages were somewhat light also: really need to turn up the contrast on the printer before printing them. The schematic page was great; very clear! Well worth the money.

I've been in the electronic business for a long time. I used to buy Sam's Photofact for my needs which intailed having to go to the store and paying about $20 for a package of 3 different units so I was forced to buy more than I needed just to get one.
Owner manual is just at your keyboard and the information is almost instantansouly and the cost is very reasonable. Easy to print out if needed or simply read off of the screen. The larger the screen the better for obvious reasons.

7-2-2 Test Mode
The test mode is used to test certain functions of the machine. The available tests are :
waveform in the pattern. It is best when the wave f r i l v l I t e a many points sharply o m s e e . f h re re b roken, perform the Make shading procedure several times until you get a level waveform.
SWITCH TEST

MODEM TEST
To enter the Test Mode: 1 Get into the Tech mode by pressing Menu,#,1, . 9,3,4. This test causes the machine to generate a particular f requency to verify the operation of the modem contro c rcuits and the modem. li

This test is used for checking the Random Access 3 S roll to the options by pressing � o .c r Memory (RAM) on the main PBA. CLEANING FUSER
This procedureremoves excess toner on the OPC drum. 1 Make sure that paper is loaded in the automatic . feeder. 2P . ress Menu, and Self-Test on the one-touch keypad.
ROM TEST
This test mode will display and check the curre t n ROM level in your machine. FLASH VER. : 1.0.0 ENGINE VER : 1.0.1
DRAM TEST
3P . ress Enter. The machine automatically pulls in a sheet of paper, and prints out. The toner particles on the OPC drum surface is fixed to the paper. This test checks the DRAM memory status and shows if it is functioning properly
MAKE SHADING
This procedure is needed to set (make) a new shading re e f rence value. The re e f rence value is p s t a f c o y. However, when the CIS or the re e t a t r main board i replaced with new one, the re e s f rence value must be set again. Load the white, letter-sized paper into the feeder and perform the test mode (MENU+ONE-TO U C H 04 �SYSTEM SETUP�). Follow the next steps as i s ructed through the LCD window.After the nt shading value is newly set, the shading value pattern is automatically printed. The shading value pattern shows the value of the white re e f rence level of the Contact Image Sensor. Check for the
