This manual covers the main equipment features only. While it also includes the procedure for saving and loading from the now long obsolete memory cards it does not mention the how to operate with the optional floppy drive interface so I am still at a loss about how to use this! Note that there is a separate manual covering the MIDI interface and programming via the keyboard, not included in this download. You will also need to get hold of this if you want to use the MIDI interface properly. Basically there is little difference between this manual and the free to download manual for the similar PR60 model.
Model 545L User Guide Unidirectional Dynamic Microphone
GENERAL The Shure Model 545L unidirectional dynamic microphone is a low-impedance unit designed for instrument or voice pickup in public address applications. With its attached cable, the microphone is suitable for mounting on an optional A25B swivel adapter, on a fixed pipe or flexible gooseneck, or for handheld use. The 545L is ideal for use in critical public address systems such as those used in political conventions and legislatures, hotels, public auditoriums, stadiums, and churches. The microphone has an exceptionally uniform pickup pattern that provides an excellent solution to feedback problems in reverberant locations, permits best utilization of space in small studios, facilitates orchestral placement, and provides effective rejection of unwanted noises.
