I AM HIGHLY IMPRESSED BY THE EASE OF USE OF THIS DOWNLOAD SERVICE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE CLEAR AND SIMPLE TO FOLLOW....EVEN BY TECHNOPHOBES SUCH AS MYSELF. ow that you have looked up the three-digit Remote Code Number for your brand of accessory device (see page 4546), you are ready to follow the simple steps shown below. Please read through all the steps before beginning.

Press and release the correct VCR or ACC(essory) System button. Press and release the center Menu button.

Within thirty seconds after releasing the center Menu button, ENTER THE THREE DIGIT CODE NUMBER for the desired device. The remote is now ready to send commands to the accessory.

(Two blinks indicate a valid code number entry has been accepted; one long blink indicates an invalid code number or the thirty second time interval for entering code numbers has expired.)
