Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

PRECAUCION: Una fuente de señal de video (tal como: juegos de video, Reproductores de Discos Compactos Interactivos - CDI, o el canal de información de la TV) que tiene un patrón o imagen fijo y estacionario en la pantalla, puede ocasionar daños al tubo de la imagen. Cuando su televisión es constantemente usada con una fuente de video tal, el patrón de la porción fija del juego (CDI, etc.) puede dejar una impresión permanente en el tubo de imagen. Siempre APAGUE la fuente de la imagen cuando no esté en uso. Asimismo, cambie las fuentes de imagen con regularidad, alternándolas con el uso normal de ver programas de televisión. â�¢ Inspeccione el cable eléctrico de alimentación a la televisión. Desenchufe la televisión, espere 1 minuto, luego vuelva a enchufarlo en el tomacorriente y oprima de nuevo el botón de POWER (POTENCIA). â�¢ Compruebe que el tomacorriente no esté controlado por un conmutador de pared. â�¢ Inspeccione las conexiones de antena en la parte posterior de la televisión. ¿Están bien sujetadas al enchufe de antena situado en la televisión? â�¢ Inspeccione la visualización SINTONIZATION CANAL (CABLE/NORMAL y ANTA/B) para la selección correcta.. â�¢ Revise el control PICTURE SOURCE (FUENTE DE LA IMAGEN) para ver si las posiciones ANT A, ANT B, AUX1, AUX2, SIDE VIDEO, o S-VIDEO están correctas. Las posiciones sin fuente de señal producirán una pantalla en blanco. â�¢ Revise el control CLOSED CAPTIONS (SUBTITULOS OCULTOS). Algunas modalidades TEXT (TEXTO) podrÃan estar bloqueando la pantalla.. â�¢ Revise los botones VOLUME (VOLUMEN) y MUTE (SONIDO APAGADO) en el televisor y el control remoto. â�¢ Revise el control TV SPEAKER NORMAL /OFF (ALTOPARLANTE DEL TELEVISOR NORMAL/APAGADO) y vea que esté en la posición correcta. â�¢ Si está intentando hacer conexiones de equipo auxiliar, revise los enchufes de audio y asegúrese que el equipo auxiliar esté encendido y en las modalidades de operación apropiadas. â�¢ Inspeccione las pilas. De ser necesario, reemplácela con las pilas de AA para trabajo pesado (cloruro de zinc) o alcalina. â�¢ Limpie el control remoto y la ventanilla del sensor remoto en la televisión. â�¢ Verifique los botones del sistema VCR-ACC-TV en el control remoto. Esta televisión está equipada con circuitos de seguridad que apagan la televisión en caso de un moderado aumento repentino de potencia. Si esto ocurre, vuelva a prender la televisión al oprimir una o dos veces el botón de POWER (POTENCIA), o desenchufe y vuelva a enchufar el cable de alimentación en el tomacorriente de CA. Estos circuitos NO están diseñados para evitar daños causados por un aumento repentino fuerte de potencia, tal como el que resulta de una descarga de relámpago, y su garantÃa no cubre este tipo de daño. LIMPIEZA Y CUIDADO Para evitar cualquier riesgo de choque eléctrico asegúrese de desenchufar la televisión del tomacorriente antes de hacer la limpieza. Nunca utilice solventes, insecticidas en aerosol, u otras sustancias quÃmicas en o cerca del mueble de la televisión puesto que éstos pueden causar daño permanente al acabado. Limpie la superficie suavemente con un paño limpio o esponja limpia mojada con una solución de agua fresca y limpia y un jabón o detergente suave. Use un paño limpio y seco para secar las superficies después de limpiarlas. Limpie la pantalla del cinescopio (tubo de imagen) con un paño limpio mojado con una solución limpiadora para el cristal. De vez en cuando, limpie las ranuras de ventilación o agujeros en la parte posterior del mueble de la televisión con una aspiradora.
