Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION OF THE DRAIN KIT
Your dryer may be supplied with a drain kit. This can be fitted so that the condensed water can be emptied into a waste-pipe instead of the water bottle in the machine. If a kit is not supplied, one can be obtained from your dealer. 0m m 50mm 60 The illustration shows the minimum space required by the dryer and the position of the waste-pipe within this space and behind the dryer. If a trap is fitted it must not obstruct the air inlet at the back of the dryer. The waste pipe can be positioned on either side of the dryer. If the waste pipe is used by both the dryer and a washing machine then its diameter must be large enough to contain both hoses - 1.5 bore (38mm) minimum. 1. Unscrew the plastic nut J from the connector at the top, rear of the machine. Remove and discard the plastic disc. Keep the rubber washer K. 2. Push the flanged tube L into the connector as shown until the flange is fully seated. 3. Push the free end of the hose through the threaded end of the nut and pull through so that the flange of the plastic elbow, at the other end of the hose is seated against the inside of the nut. 4. Insert the rubber washer K. 5. Screw the nut onto the connector on the back of the machine and position the elbow so that the hose will fit into the wastepipe. Shorten the hose if necessary. Tighten the nut. 6. Move the machine into its working position with the drain hose inserted into the waste pipe.

Push the filter into its operating position as shown in the diagram. If you wish to change the side on which your door opens, see the instructions on the back page. Remove any dust by wiping the drum and door with a damp cloth. Any initial smell from the heater should disappear after the first period of heating.

Position the tumble dryer so that the plug remains accessible after installation. Do not block the vent at the front of the dryer, as this will impair the working of the machine.

Do not tumble dry
Do not tumble dry woollen or wool mixture articles unless the article is labelled to be suitable due to a possibility of shrinkage. Roll dripping wet articles in a towel to remove excess water. Place delicate articles e.g. tights, scarves, inside a pillowcase. To avoid the need to iron easycare polyester/cotton items it is better to only dry small loads (i.e half fill drum). It is better to dry small and large articles together. We suggest a fabric conditioner to be used to reduce static electricity. Do not overload the dryer or dry large bulky items such as duvets or sleeping bags as it is important that the airflow through the dryer is not obstructed. Do not place items contaminated with inflammable substances in the dryer, such as petrol, cleaning solvents, cooking oil, fat, or hair lacquer. These can cause fires. For the same reason, do not dry rubber, foam rubber, plastic or paper.
