Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Bedienung / Einstellen der Programme
1 Waschmittelschublade
Die Waschmittelschublade befindet sich auf der linken Seite der Bedienungsblende. In die Griffmulde fassen und Schublade nach vorne herausziehen. In die verschiedenen Fächer wird das Waschmittel für die Vor- und Hauptwäsche, sowie Fleckensalz, Weichspüler und Stärke gegeben. Schublade wieder einschieben. Die Waschmittel werden dann programmgemä� eingespült. Einzelheiten siehe Seite 26. Durch Drehen des Wahlschalters nach rechts oder links, wählen Sie den Waschbereich und die Temperatur bzw. das entsprechende Programm. Achtung! Den Wahlschalter, immer erst auf Position AUS drehen, bevor ein Programm gewählt wird. Symbole auf der Programmskala Bei den Waschtemperaturen, die zusätzlich mit einem «E» versehen sind, handelt es sich um Sparprogramme. KALT: das Wasser wird nicht aufgeheizt.

2 Programmwahlschalter
Der Waschvollautomat hat 6 verschiedene Waschbereiche, die mit dem Wahlschalter eingestellt werden: Koch- und Buntwäsche Pflegeleicht Feinwäsche Handwäsche Wolle Sonderprogramme
HEMDEN/BLUSEN im Programm PFLEGELEICHT: Die Wäsche wird besonders schonend gewaschen und geschleudert. Dadurch wird die Knitterbildung gemindert und der Bügelaufwand reduziert.

Das Programm ist richtig eingestellt, wenn im gewünschten Waschbereich die entsprechende Temperatur bzw. das entsprechende Programm mit der Markierung auf dem Wahlschalter übereinstimmt. Das Programm beginnt erst, wenn die START/PAUSE-Taste gedrückt wird. Beispiel: E 60° Spar-Kochwäsche

Dabei gehören zum jeweiligen Bereich die waschtechnisch notwendigen Temperaturen. Somit sind Waschprogramm und Temperatur in einem zusammengefasst - die bequeme Einknopfautomatik mit freier Temperaturwahl.
