I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

SURFACE COOKING
Yourcooktop is equipped with either pilot ignitionor pilotless ignition. Be sure all surface controls are set in the OFF position prior to supplying gas to the appliance, The cooktopfeaturing conventional surface burners lifts up for easy cleaning of the burner box area. Pilot Ignition
Pilot ignition uses a standing pilotto light the burner.When the cooktop is first installed, the pilots may be difficult to light due to air in the ( as line.
