Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Anwendungs-Beispiel
Es soll die Betriebsart Ober-/Unterhitze mit 195°C für einen Streuselkuchen eingestellt werden. Der Backofen soll möglichst schnell aufheizen. 1. Taste Ein/Aus einmal drücken 2. Taste Betriebsart zweimal drücken 3. Taste Minus einmal drücken 4. Taste Schnellaufheizung/Auftauen einmal drücken Damit ist die Einstellung vorgenommen. 5. Zum Ausschalten des Backofens Taste Ein/Aus einmal drücken
Automatische Sicherheitsabschaltung
Die Elektronik besitzt eine Betriebsdauerbegrenzung, die den Backofen nach einer festgelegten Zeit abschaltet, falls er versehentlich eingeschaltet geblieben ist. Die festgelegte Zeit ist abhängig von der gewählten Temperatur, jedoch unabhängig von der Betriebsart.
Wenn die eingestellte Temperatur ... ist. 250°C und höher von 120 bis 250°C kleiner als 120°C
...schaltet sich der Backofen aus: nach 1,5 Std. nach 5 Std. nach 12 Std.
Hinweis: Die Betriebsdauerbegrenzung spricht nur an, wenn Temperatur und Betriebsart über die gesamte festgelegte Zeit nicht verstellt werden.
Restwärme-Funktion
Bei Ablauf eines Automatikbetriebes durch die Zeitschaltuhr werden die Heizelemente gegen Ende der Betriebszeit abgeschaltet. Die ausreichend vorhandene Restwärme im Backofen wird dann zum Fertiggaren genutzt. Diese Funktion wird nicht speziell angezeigt, sondern sie erfolgt automatisch.
