The Philips scope is of excellent quality, longevity and build and had a couple of faults
when it was passed to me. Having the CCT diagrams is a blessing.
I have fixed the problems and also modded the scope to my requirements.
I have built a 24v Li-Ion pack for portable use from old but good laptop batts.

VERWENDUNG DES AN DIE BUCHSEN TAPE 2 MONITOR ANGESCHLOSSENEN GER�TES
[Für ein Kassettendeck]
÷ Ein an diese Buchsen angeschlossenes Kassettendeck kann auf gleiche Weise (Aufnahme und Wiedergabe) wie ein an die Tonband-1/Digitalrecorder-Buchsen (TAPE 2 MONITOR) ange� schlossenes Kassettendeck betrieben werden. ÷ Bei Verwendung von zwei Kassettendecks können Kassetten von einem Kassettendeck auf das andere überspielt (kopiert) werden (siehe ��BERSPIELEN VON KASSETTENB�NDERN�).
1. Stellen Sie die Band 2 Monitortaste (TAPE 2 MONITOR) auf ON (Ein). 2. Betätigen Sie das Kassettendeck, um mit der Wiedergabe (bzw. Aufnahme) zu beginnen.
HINWEIS: Die mit dem Eingangswählschalter gewählte Wiedergabequelle wird einige Tage lang gespeichert, auch wenn das Gerät mit dem Hauptschalter abgeschaltet oder vom Netz getrennt wurde. Danach wird beim erneuten Einschalten der Hauptstromversorgung automatisch CD als Eingangsquelle gewählt.
[Für eine Adapter-Komponente]
Bei Verwendung eines Graphic-Equalizers können Wiedergabequellen (CDs, Kassetten, UKW-/MW-Sendungen, usw.) mit zusätzlicher Klang- und Tonkompensation gehört werden. Mit der Adapterkomponente kompensierter Ton kann auf dem an TAPE1/CD-R/MD-Buchsen angeschlossenen Kassettendeck aufgenommen werden.
1. Stellen Sie die Band 2 Monitortaste (TAPE 2 MONITOR) auf ON (Ein). 2. Beginnen Sie mit der Wiedergabe der Programmquelle. 3. Betätigen Sie die Adapter-Komponente.
HINWEIS: Vergewissern Sie sich, da� Sie diesen Betrieb ausführen, wenn der Netzschalter der Adapter-Komponente eingeschaltet ist. Der Netzschalter der Adapter-komponente mu� selbst dann eingeschaltet bleiben, wenn Sie die Adapter-Komponente nicht benutzen. Wenn die Adapter-Komponente ausgeschaltet ist, wird kein Ton produziert, oder die Wiedergabe ist verzerrt.
