Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

IMPORTANT
First make sure that the appliance has not been damaged in transit. If any damage has been incurred, please inform the supplier immediately. Please read these instructions carefully. Keep the instructions in a safe place and make sure that they are retained with the refrigerator when the appliance is transferred to a new location or owner. Note! If this refrigerator is replacing a larger one which is going to be scrapped, remove the door before disposal to prevent children from becoming trapped inside. Please contact the relevant area refuse office to arrange disposal. The pipe system of your refrigerator must not be damaged if technically correct disposal is to be guaranteed. If possible, please take the packaging of your new refrigerator to the recycling centre for your area. Recommendation: before installation or initial use of the appliance, clean the interior and fittings with lukewarm water and, if necessary, a mild detergent. Never use acidic, abrasive or strongsmelling detergents or wax polishes! Connecting to the mains The refrigerator must only be connected to the electricity supply using an earthed socket outlet, installed in accordance with local regulations. Before connecting the refrigerator, check from the data label inside the cabinet that the voltage agrees with your mains supply. Plug connection (for United Kingdom only) If a 3-pin 13 amp fused plug is used, it should be fitted with a 3 amp fuse; with other plug types, the circuit should contain a 5 amp fuse. Warning - This Appliance must be earthed.
MOULDED-ON PLUG WITH FUSE (for United Kingdom only)
The mains lead is fitted with a nonrewirable moulded-on 13 amp plug containing a 3 amp fuse. If the fuse requires replacing at any time, the fuse cover/carrier should be removed using a small screwdriver to lever it out. The old fuse should be replaced by a 3 amp ASTA approved BS1362 fuse and the fuse cover/carrier must be refitted before the plug is used again. If the fuse cover/carrier is lost, a replacement can be obtained from our service shops. The fuse cover/carrier must be of the same colour as that of the coloured insert in the base of the plug. In no circumstances must the plug be used without a correct fuse cover/carrier fitted. If the plug supplied on the mains lead is not suitable for the socket in your home, it should be cut off and disposed of safely, or destroyed, to avoid any possible shock hazard resulting from the plug being inserted into a 13 amp socket elsewhere in the house. A suitable replacement plug should then be fitted as given below.
