I was very pleased with the manual I got for my amateur (ham) radio. Without it I could not figure out how to input and/or change the P/L setting on my radio. It drove me nuts as the radio was essentially useless. That all changed when my manual came. Then it took only minutes and I was done. Now my radio works fine. ALIMENTATION Piles (non comprises)
� Ouvrez le compartiment des piles pour y introduire deux piles alcalines de type R6, UM3 ou AA de la manière indiquée. � Enlevez les piles dès qu�elles sont usées ou qu�elles n�ont pas été utilisées pendant une période prolongée. Les piles contiennent des substances chimiques, donc elles doivent être jetées selon les normes de l�environnement.
RECEPTION RADIO
1. Tournez VOLUME/ POWER OFF vers la droite pour mettre la radio en marche. � Vous entendrez un léger déclic lorsque vous mettez la radio en marche. 2. Réglez le niveau du volume avec VOLUME/ POWER OFF. 3. Si vous désirez écouter par l'intermédiaire des écouteurs, branchez des écouteurs avec une fiche de 3,5 mm dans la prise p. � Dans ce cas, le haut-parleur intégré ne fonctionne pas. 4. Réglez le sélecteur de longueur d�onde sur FM/MW ou LW pour sélectionner la longueur d�onde. 5. Syntonisez la station de radio désirée avec le bouton TUNING. � En mode FM, sortez entièrement l�antenne télescopique. Réduisez sa longueur dès que le signal devient trop puissant (trop proche d�un émetteur). � En mode MW (ou LW), l�équipement est pourvu d�une antenne incorporée. Tournez l�équipement dans sa totalité pour trouver la meilleure réception. 6. Pour mettre la radio hors service, tournez VOLUME/ POWER OFF vers la gauche jusqu�à ce que vous entendiez un léger déclic.
