Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

1. Die Taste JET DEFROST drücken. 2. Mit den +/- Tasten das Nahrungsmittelgewicht einstellen. 3. Die Starttaste drücken. Diese Funktion NUR zum Auftauen von Fleisch, Fisch und Ge�ügel verwenden. Für andere Nahrungsmittel wie etwa Brot und Obst wie unter �Garen und Aufwärmen mit der Mikrowelle� beschrieben verfahren und zum Auftauen die Leistungsstufe 160 W wählen. Die Schnellauftaufunktion ist nur für Speisen mit einem Nettogewicht von 100 bis 2000 g vorgesehen.

In der Mitte des Auftauvorgangs stoppt das Gerät und gibt die Meldung �TURN FOOD� (Speisen wenden) aus. � Tür ö�nen. � Speisen wenden. � Tür schlie�en und durch Drücken der Schnellstart-Taste wieder starten. Hinweis: Das Gerät setzt sich automatisch nach 2 Minuten wieder in Gang, wenn die Speisen nicht gewendet wurden. Das Auftauen dauert in diesem Fall länger.
Wenn das Gewicht nicht dem empfohlenen Wert entspricht: Zum Auftauen die Leistungsstufe 160 W sowie die Funktion �Garen und Aufwärmen mit der Mikrowelle� wählen. Ein niedrigeres Gewicht wählen, falls die Speisen wärmer als die Tiefkühltemperatur (-18 °C) sind. Wenn die Temperatur der Speisen niedriger als die Tiefkühltemperatur (-18 °C) ist, ein höheres Gewicht auswählen.
JET START (SCHNELLSTART)
Mit dieser Funktion können Speisen mit einem hohen Wassergehalt wie klare Suppen, Ka�ee oder Tee schnell aufgewärmt werden.
Diese Taste drücken, um automatisch mit der vollen Mikrowellenleistung und einer Garzeit von 30 Sekunden zu beginnen. Mit jedem weiteren Drücken der Taste wird die Zeit um 30 Sekunden verlängert. Die Zubereitungszeit lässt sich auch nach dem Start durch Drücken der Tasten +/verlängern oder verkürzen.
