At first I thought there had been a mix up as I required the service manual for the cassette unit and the one supplied was for the CD unit. However when I scrolled further down I realised that both had been scanned together! This enabled me to dismantle and repair the cassette unit as intended and I also have a copy of the manual for both the CD and graphic equaliser units should I ever need them. Thanks very much for a great service.

Superb rendition. Drawings (schematics) complete and unabridged. I do a great deal of vintage audio restoration. Documentation is essential for successful repairs. I have found sources over the years that offer good documentation, but rarely all that is necessary. Owner's Manuals has filled that void with complete and legible documentation. They have narrowed my "favorites" to a more manageable collection. This Denon manual in particular contained the latest revisions level, and offered alterations favorable to updating the item. The Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) was well enough detailed to simplify part symbols and physical locations. You will not be disappointed!

5. Ausbau der AC-Netzsteckdose, Netzgerät-/Vorschaltwiderstands-Einheit und des Kühlgebläses
5-1. 5-2. 5-3. 5-4. Die Schraube an der Rückseite des Geräts entfernen. Die Schraube entfernen, dann die Netzgerät-/Vorschaltwiderstands-Einheit herausnehmen. Die untere Abschirmung und die Abschirmungsabdeckung entfernen. Den Stecker abziehen, dann die 5-7 5-6 AC-Netzsteckdose abnehmen. 5-2 5-5. Die beiden Haken lösen, dann die Vorschaltwiderstands-Einheit aus dem Gehäuse der Netzgerät-/ Cooling Fan Kühlgebläse Vorschaltwiderstands-Einheit herausnehmen. Alle Stecker von der Leistungsleiterplatte abziehen. 5-5 5-4 5-6. Die beiden Schrauben entfernen, dann die Leistungsleiterplatte abnehmen. 5-7. Die beiden Schrauben entfernen, Leistungsleiterplatte Power PWB 5-5 dann das Kühlgebläse herausnehmen.

Hinweis: Wenn die Abschirmung (unten) der Netzgerät-/Vorschaltwiderstands-Einheit (PSLDMA 189WJFW) an der Halter-Baugruppe des Netzgerät-/Vorschaltwiderstands (CHLDZA 135WJ01) montiert wird, mu� sichergestellt werden, da� diese wie unten beschrieben angebracht wird. Unbedingt die Klaue der unteren Abschirmung in den Spalt zwischen der oberen Abschirmung und dem Halter einführen. * Niemals die Klaue zwischen der Isolierplatte und dem Halter einpassen, da in diesem Fall ein zu geringer Isolierabstand zur VorschaltwiderstandsLeiterplatte besteht.
Nach dem Zusammenbau sich vergewissern, da� die Klaue der unteren Abschirmung in der viereckigen �ffnung der oberen Abschirmung sichtbar ist.
