Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

USO DEL DISTRIBUIDOR DE HIELO (EN ALGUNOS MODELOS)
Encendido/apagado (On/Off) del productor de hielo Esta función activa o desactiva la producción de hielo. Nota: La palanca situada en el interior del compartimento congelador (vea la Figura 1 de la página siguiente) si está situada horizontalmente, impide la producción de hielo pero no el suministro del hielo que hay en la bandeja. Selección de hielo La función está activada cuando el sÃmbolo está encendido. Para seleccionar el tipo de hielo (cubitos o picado), pulse el botón ; se iluminará la función correspondiente. Para obtener hielo: 1.Pulse el botón y seleccione el tipo de hielo que desee. 2.Presione un vaso resistente contra la palanca del distribuidor automático de hielo. Mantenga el vaso cerca de la boca de salida para que el hielo no caiga fuera. 3.No es necesario aplicar mucha presión sobre la palanca para activar el distribuidor de hielo. Aunque la operación se realice con fuerza, el hielo no sale ni más rápido ni más abundante. 4.Retire el vaso lentamente para evitar que siga saliendo hielo. 5.Se aconseja no utilizar vasos muy finos para sacar hielo. Nota: Es posible que los primeros lotes de cubitos de hielo tengan mal sabor; por tanto, no los consuma. El hielo procede del contenedor del productor automático situado en el compartimento congelador. Cuando se presiona el vaso contra la palanca exterior, se enciende la luz y en el interior del distribuidor se abre una trampilla entre el contenedor del hielo y el distribuidor. Cuando se quita el vaso de la palanca, se cierra la trampilla y la luz se apaga. El distribuidor de hielo no funciona si la puerta del compartimento congelador está abierta. Si necesita grandes cantidades de cubitos, debe cogerlos directamente del contenedor y no a través del distribuidor. En el caso del hielo picado, los cubitos se trituran antes de distribuirse. Esto puede originar un ligero retraso en la distribución. Es normal que el picador de hielo emita ruido y el tamaño de los trozos de hielo puede variar. Cuando cambie de hielo triturado a cubitos de hielo, los primeros cubitos saldrán con una pequeña cantidad de hielo triturado. Una vez encendido el aparato es necesario esperar unas 10 horas para obtener los primeros cubitos de hielo. â�¢ Si no sale hielo al presionar la palanca, cambie el modo de selección de cubitos a hielo picado o viceversa, a fin de eliminar los posibles bloques de hielo. â�¢ Si todavÃa no sale hielo, espere un par de minutos y repita la operación. â�¢ Si nota la presencia de condensación en la zona del distribuidor de hielo/agua, pulse el interruptor correspondiente (indicado con A en la figura) para activar el dispositivo antiempañamiento.
