I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Using the language setup menu
LANGUAGE SETUP function helps you to choose preferred audio language and subtitle, during the playback of DVDs with multiple audio languages and multiple subtitles..
3D processing � Select this to enjoy one of the 5 options of the 3D processing: OFF p CONCERTp CHURCH p PASSIVE p WIDE p LIVE � When OFF is set, no 3D processing is output.

In disc mode, press SYSTEM MENU. � The menu bar will appear across the top of the TV screen. Select (audio setup) icon and press 4 to enter the setup menu. Then press 3 / 4 to select one of the setup menu options and press B to enter the menu. Audio setup LT/RT Select this to enjoy a vivid cinema experience, during the playback of discs with PRO LOGIC Dolby stereo mode. STEREO Select this to enjoy normal stereo putput. VSS Select this to enjoy analogue surround sound from the main speaker, during the playback of discs recorded on 5.1 Channel.
ON Select this to level out the volume. High volume output will be softened and low volume output will be brought upward to an audible level. This feature is only available for movies with Dolby Digital mode. OFF Select this when you want to enjoy the surround
