This GRUNDIG UV5A Owner Manual is not only an instruction manual but a total functional circuit description of the Multimeter and includes circuit diagram at the end pages. It is very helpful for repairing and calibrating the instrument. It is written in two languages English and German for international support. It was very easy to repair my unit with this document. Regards, Regis Pauly, Electrical Engineer.

The owner's manual was evetything I thought it would be. I was able to print it out using both sides of the paper in quick order, saving me a search online for a used one.

Was happy to find the complete owners manual... It's all in there, just like the original...
at 33 rpm the belt is cantered on the platter edge. The approximate right position of the spring supports are: (considering the turntable front view) LEFT at the same level of the tip of its threaded bar; RIGHT 5mm higher than the tip of its threaded bar; BACK 8mm higher than the tip of its threaded bar SPEED ADJUSTMENT ON THE ADJUSTABLE ALUMINIUM PULLEY The Turntable is not levelled Be sure that the turntable layer is enough solid and rigid to support the weight of the turntable easily With the help of a coin screw clockwise or anti-clockwise the pulleys internal cone to increase (clockwise) or decrease (anti-clockwise) the speed. Check the right speed with a proper stroboscope SPRING ADJUSTMENT It is hard to adjust the springs inserted in the bolt shaped supports bear the black curved board VTA tone arm is not adjustable To help the adjustment of the springs through their bolt shaped spring supports, slightly lift the black board (few millimetres) with a finger during the rotation movement of them. The arm board collar hex bolts are screwed into the collar too much and do not let the arm shaft gets in it; unscrew the hex bolts properly The adaptor has to be used and lift but the collar keeps it down; Unscrew the collar hex bolt, find the proper adaptor height and re-fix it again The tone arm shaft is too big to get into the collar or the supplied adaptor; ask your local dealer to have a custom made collar fit such arm With the B luenote arms or Rega standard shaft ones, rotate the adaptor at the necessary height, till the proper Tonearm Hang Over is been found With EXTREME care use ONLY pure alcohol and a very soft 100% cotton cloth to sweep dust and stains out. Any acid or not extremely soft cloth will irreversibly damage the turntable fine aesthetic. Do not use any alcohol to clean the turntable anodised label, pulley and motor spindle. Only dry cloth is allo wed
The aluminium adjustable pulley doesnt spins at the right speed
