Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Antwortbereitschaft ein-/ausschalten � Drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste. Der Anrufbeantworter teilt seine Antwortbereitschaft mit: �Anrufbeantworter ein/ aus�. Im ausgeschalteten Zustand zeigt das Display �� �� an, im eingeschalteten die Anzahl der gespeicherten Nachrichten.

Was passiert, wenn jemand Ihren Anrufbeantworter anruft? Ihr Anrufbeantworter meldet sich nach der eingestellten Anzahl von Rufzeichen. Der Anrufer hört den Ansagetext und einen langen Signalton. Er kann nun eine Nachricht (max. 2 Minuten) aufsprechen. Legt der Anrufer eine Sprechpause von mehr als 6 Sekunden ein, wird die Verbindung getrennt. Ist der Anrufbeantworter ausgeschaltet, geht er nach dem 12. Rufzeichen an die Leitung und meldet �Anrufbeantworter aus� (siehe 5.9.3 Ferneinschalten).

Mithören und Anruf übernehmen Sie können über den Lautsprecher des Anrufbeantworters bei der Aufzeichnung von Anrufen mithören oder das Gespräch übernehmen. Um das Gespräch zu übernehmen, drücken Sie am Mobilteil die Hörertaste. Das bis dahin aufgezeichnete Gespräch bleibt gespeichert. Hinweis: Liegt das Mobilteil zum Laden auf der Basisstation (Ladeablage) und ist nach dem Abheben das Hörersymbol im Display bereits sichtbar, so wurde das Gespräch automatisch übernommen (dies ist innerhalb der ersten 6 Sek. nach dem letzten Rufzeichen der Fall). Ein Drücken der Hörertaste würde in diesem Fall zum sofortigen Gesprächsende führen!
