Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.
This manual is immaculate in it's accuracy. Everything is written very clearly and easy to understand. Written by a professional who wants to convey a clear and easy to understand message!!

Timer/Kurzzeitwecker
Der Timer hat keine ein� oder ausschaltende Wirkung. Er kann zum �berwachen und Kontrollieren von Garzeiten und Abläufen in der Küche, auch unabhängig vom Backofen, eingesetzt werden. � � Drücken Sie die Drucktaste (10). Im Anzeigefeld blinkt das Timer�Symbol (15) und :00. Mit der Drucktaste (6 oder ) können Zeitabläufe von 1 Minute bis 9 Stunden/59 Minuten eingestellt werden.

Die Ziffern im Anzeigefeld sind volle Minuten. Etwa 6 Sekunden nach Einstellung beginnt der Zeitablauf, das Timer�Symbol (15) leuchtet und die aktuelle Zeit wird angezeigt. � Ein akustisches Signal (3�fach) weist auf die abgelaufene Einstellung hin. Das Timer Symbol (15) blinkt und ein Signalton wird im 15 Sekundenabstand wiederholt. Er kann durch Drücken der Timertaste (10) abgestellt werden. 2 Minuten nach Ablauf schaltet sich die Funktion � Signalton � automatisch aus.
Der Timer kann gleichzeitig mit automatischen Zeitabläufen eingestellt werden. In diesem Falle zeigt das Display die Timer�Einstellung an, während die Automatikeinstellungen weiter laufen.
