Great manual, great price. Has a few of the basic operating instructions that most service manuals leave out. Complete instructions for disassembling board by board, safety precautions, schematics, complete parts list.

I found this service manual to be complete in every detail except for troubleshooting charts. It would be helpful if it had a set of troubleshooting charts; however it is a very good manual otherwise and for the price it is very well worth it.
Note : Make these 2 adjustments (3-S1, 3-S2) after perfoming section 3-13. 3-S1. W/B plunge correction adjustment S1-1. Adjustment of NTSC composite 1) Input the 525 all white (with burst) cut-off signal. 2) Adjust the brightness to a value below 10 cd/m2 with CONT and BRT VR. Brightness adjustment:3 cd/m2 3) Turn CHROMA VR to MIN, and measure the color temperature. 4) Turn CHROMA VR to MAX, and make adjustment with
NTSC B-Y
S1-4. Adjustment of DIGITAL 1) Input the DI 525 all white cut-off signal. 2) Repeat the operations S1-1. 2) and 3). 3) Turn CHROMA VR to MAX, and make adjustment with DIGITAL R-Y and DIGITAL B-Y so that the color temperature will be the same as the value measured in item 2). Standard adjustment: The difference should be within 2 JND when CHROMA MIN n MAX. S1-5. Adjustment of NTSC443 composite 1) Input the all white (with burst) cut-off signal. 2) Repeat the operations S1-1. 2) and 3). 3) Turn CHROMA VR to MAX, and make adjustment with NTSC443 R-Y and NTSC443 B-Y so that the color temperature will be same as the value measured in item 2). Standard adjustment: The difference should be within 2 JND when CHROMA MIN n MAX.

Note : NTSC all white (with burst) may be input. 2) Repeat the opelations S1-1. 2) and 3). 3) Turn CHROMA VR to MAX, and make adjustment with COMPONENT B-Y and COMPONENT R-Y so that the color temperature will be the same as the value measured in item 2). Standard adjustment: The difference should be within 2 JND when CHROMA MIN n MAX.
