Press the VOLUME A UP button to increase the volume, and press the VOLUME V DOWN button to decrease it. The volume level is displayed as a number from O to 16 in the display window. Keeping the button pressed changes the volume faster. Release the button when the volume is set to the desired level. q The volume level is automatically set to 10 when the power is turned off with the volume level set to higher than 10. q The volume level is automatically set to 7 when batteries are inserted or when the AC cord is connected.

The indicator of the selected mode lights up and the equalization curve of the selected mode is displayed. ROCK Emphasizes the high and especially low ranges.
