Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Richten Sie das Mikrofon auf den äusseren Rand des Schlagfells aus. 2.5 Vocals (D 77 S, D 88 S) 2.5.1 Mikrofonabstand und Nahbesprechungseffekt 2.5.2 Schalleinfallswinkel Siehe Fig. 16. Je kürzer der Abstand zwischen den Lippen und dem Mikrofon, umso lauter, aber auch dunkler klingt die Stimme. Je weiter Sie sich vom Mikrofon entfernen, umso heller, aber auch leiser klingt Ihre Stimme. Bei einem Abstand von weniger als 5 cm bewirkt der Nahbesprechungseffekt (eine prinzipbedingte Eigenschaft aller Richtmikrofone) eine starke Betonung der Tiefen. Singen Sie seitlich auf das Mikrofon oder über den Mikrofonkopf hinweg. So erhalten Sie einen ausgewogenen, naturgetreuen Klang. Wenn Sie direkt von vorne auf das Mikrofon singen, werden nicht nur Atemgeräusche mitübertragen, sondern auch Verschlusslaute (p, t) und Zischlaute (s, sch, tsch) unnatürlich hervorgehoben. Ein Teil des von den Lautsprechern abgegebenen Schalls wird vom Mikrofon aufgenommen und verstärkt wieder den Lautsprechern zugeleitet. Dieser Kreislauf führt ab einer bestimmten Lautstärke zum gefürchteten Heulen und Pfeifen der Beschallungsanlage. � Lassen Sie Ihr Mikrofon nie direkt auf Monitore oder PA-Lautsprecher zeigen. � Stellen Sie Monitore im Bereich der geringsten Empfindlichkeit des Mikrofons auf.
