I AM HIGHLY IMPRESSED BY THE EASE OF USE OF THIS DOWNLOAD SERVICE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE CLEAR AND SIMPLE TO FOLLOW....EVEN BY TECHNOPHOBES SUCH AS MYSELF. THE EMAILS POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION...ITS SO EASY PEASY. THE DOWNLOAD CHOICE OF USER MANUALS IS EXTENSIVE AND I COULD NOT FIND A CHEAPER OR MORE EFFICIENT SERVICE ON THE INTERNET. I COULD NOT HAVE MADE A BETTER CHOICE OF INFORMATION PROVIDER. SHOULD I EVER NEED ANOTHER USER MANUAL, THEN THIS IS THE FIRST CHOICE SITE. Forward and Reverse Searching (SP/LP/SLP)

When in Play mode, press and release the F.FWD/+ button or the REW(ind)/� button. A fast forward or reverse picture search will begin.

Viewing a Still Picture
When in Play mode, press the PAUSE/STILL button. A still picture (frozen image) will appear on-screen. The noise lines will move each time you press the PAUSE/STILL button.
Helpful Hints
� Still mode will automatically switch to Stop mode after five minutes to protect the TV/VCR and the tape from damage. � SP/LP/SLP means this feature will work with tapes recorded in Standard Play, Long Play, or Super Long Play. For details about tape speed, see page 29. � LP/SLP means this feature will work with tapes recorded in Long Play and Super Long Play. For details on tape speed, see page 29. � If a still picture vibrates vertically, stabilize it by pressing the TRACKING Up/Down buttons on the remote control or the CHANNEL Up/Down buttons on the TV/VCR. � During forward and reverse searching, horizontal noise bars will appear on the TV/VCR screen.
To release the still picture and return to normal playback, press the PLAY/v button.
