A comprehensive Operating and Service Manual. All schematics are complete and easy to read. The PCB drawings and complete parts list are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this manual.

Genuine Toshiba owner's manual. Couldn't really ask for more. And written in understandable English in contrast to a few recent experiences I have had with manuals for other equipment other than Toshiba but made in China and written in "Chinglish"!

Forward and Reverse Searching (SP/LP/SLP)

When in Play mode, press and release the F.FWD/+ button or the REW(ind)/� button. A fast forward or reverse picture search will begin.

To return to normal playback, press the PLAY/v button.
Viewing a Still Picture
When in Play mode, press the PAUSE/STILL button. A still picture (frozen image) will appear on-screen. The noise lines will move each time you press the PAUSE/STILL button.
Helpful Hints
� Still mode will automatically switch to Stop mode after five minutes to protect the TV/VCR and the tape from damage. � SP/LP/SLP means this feature will work with tapes recorded in Standard Play, Long Play, or Super Long Play. For details about tape speed, see page 29. � LP/SLP means this feature will work with tapes recorded in Long Play and Super Long Play. For details on tape speed, see page 29. � If a still picture vibrates vertically, stabilize it by pressing the TRACKING Up/Down buttons on the remote control or the CHANNEL Up/Down buttons on the TV/VCR. � During forward and reverse searching, horizontal noise bars will appear on the TV/VCR screen.
To release the still picture and return to normal playback, press the PLAY/v button.
