 A-103 TEAC Service Manual by Mike Dunn;
For five bucks you can barely buy a hamburger. Or for the same five bucks you can buy a service manual. Much more useful. (and better for your health, depending on where you buy your hamburgers). Yes, there are free manual sites out there, but if they don't have what you want, you have to pay. And five bucks isn't much. Not for full specs, schematics and adjustment and parts replacement procedures. My only criticism is that grayscale illustrations aren't well rendered, but I've seen worse. Schematics and text are clear. I'll be happy to purchase from here again. Mike [email protected]
 CJV55 PIONEER Service Manual by Joseph Dulick Jr;
Impressively thorough. Even the simple operators manual helped me "fix" one of the 2 CD players in the unit. This unit reads CD's from the top so they should be installed in the magazines "upside down" from typical CD players. The CD player service manual helped me unjam a stuck carriage because somebody transported the box laying down loaded with CD's. A little lens cleaning & the player now works well! Thanks for you help at a great price! Joe
 PMD-221 MARANTZ Service Manual by Benjamin AM;
I was skeptical at first but later found the manual to be good quality for the price. It took a couple hours to receive the email with the download link, well worth the wait. Thanks.

When water vapor comes into contact with the surface of cold material, water drops are produced. If condensation occurs, correct operation may not be possible, or the unit may not function correctly. This is not a malfunction, however, and the unit should be dried. (To do this, turn the POWER switch ON and leave the unit as it is for several hours.)

Beware of condensation
Be especially careful in the following conditions: When the unit is brought from a cold place to warm place, and there is a large temperature difference. When a heater starts operating. When the unit is brought from an air-conditioned place to a place of high temperature with high humidity. When there is a large difference between the internal temperature of the unit and the ambient temperature, or in conditions where condensation occurs easily.

Note related to transportation and movement
Before transporting or moving this unit, carry out the following operation: 1. Remove all discs from the carousel and close the door panel. 2. Confirm that the flashing NO DISC display has changed to steady lighting, and then switch off the power.

Operation to reset
The microcomputer may malfunction (impossibility to operate, erroneous display, etc.) when the connection cords are unplugged while power is ON or due to an external factor. In this case, execute the following method to reset the microcomputer and return it to normal condition. Unplug the power cord from the power socket and plug the power cord into the socket again.

NO D I S C
