I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.
SELECTING THE COLOR OF THE ILLUMINATION (CDC-X175M only)
You can select the color of the illumination between green and amber. Detach the front panel and slide the switch on the back of the front panel to the �G (green) position or �A (amber) position.

Switoh the ignition to ACC. With the unit off, press and hold down SELfor more than 1.5 seconds untif the cfock indication appears. q If you do not proceed with step 3 within 5 seconds, the clock indication cfLsappears.
