This GRUNDIG UV5A Owner Manual is not only an instruction manual but a total functional circuit description of the Multimeter and includes circuit diagram at the end pages. It is very helpful for repairing and calibrating the instrument. It is written in two languages English and German for international support. It was very easy to repair my unit with this document. 1 Insert the tip of a pointed object A into the hole B
and pull out the battery holder to remove the lithium battery (CR2025). Remote control (back)

2 Install a new lithium battery (CR2025) with the )
side facing up in the battery holder.
1 BAND button 2 TAPE button (This button is not available with this unit.) 3 CD button 4 CD-CH button (CD changer only) 5 SKIP f/REW button 6 SKIP g/FF button 7 PS (preset) button 8 TUNING/DISC UP/DOWN buttons 9 VOLUME +/- buttons
3 Push the battery holder into the unit until it clicks.
Preparations
A lithium battery is installed in the remote control at the factory. Before you use the remote control, be sure to remove the insulating sheet by simply pulling it out. Remote control (back)
CAUTIONS
� Keep the lithium battery out of the reach of children. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately. � To prevent a short circuit, never pinch the battery with pliers, etc.
