This manual is for the usa model only. But it is clear
, accurate and comprehensive, including board layouts and schematics.
I found it extremely useful for my mitsubishi dp-86da, but the same diagram would also work for the realistic lab5000 and hi fi 80. Thanks.

The exchange of driving unit ass� y. NOTE
Power must be supplied before the exchange. During the exchange, prevention band for static electricity must be in wear. (To avoid the damage of pick-up for static electricity) A. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. B. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Separation of D/U ass� y. Short terminal (1) on pick-up PCB after separating mecha from set. Take down D/U ass� (2) through turning relay gear (3) in CCW direction. y Release screw (5). Push slider � (6) in the direction of screw (5). L� Separate D/U ass� (2). y Assembly of D/U ass� y. Put D/U ass� between slide � (7) and slider � (6). y R� L� Push slider � (6) in the opposite direction of screw (5). L� Lock screw (5). Open terminal (1) on pick-up PCB. Put mecha on set.
