Thank you for having the manual I needed for an older model Aiwa stero I had found on Ebay --- I wanted the Aiwa because I had tapes and cd's but I did not have a manual as to how to operate the system... I found what I needed and it has enabled me to set the system up for my enjoyment.

A. Sur un téléviseur à écran large (16:9):
Avec une image 16:9 Sélectionner 16 : 9 pour la sortie DVD.
I Une image large s�affiche s�il s�agit d�un disque aux images larges. I S�il s�agit d�une image 4:3, sélectionner le format vidéo selon le téléviseur connecté.
En mode d�arrêt, appuyer sur la touche SET UP tout en maintenant la touche SHIFT enfoncée. L�écran de configuration apparaît. Agir sur la touche de curseur L ou M pour sélectionner � TV MODE�. TV MODE 4:3 LB

Appuyer sur la touche ENTER et sélectionner �TV MODE� en agissant sur la touche de curseur L ou M. Appuyer sur la touche ENTER pour afficher les paramètres de configuration. Sélectionner � 4:3 LB �, � 4: 3 PS � ou � 16:9 � en agissant sur la touche de curseur L ou M.

Lorsque l�on reproduit un disque au format large, les deux côtés de l�image sont coupés (pan scan) pour l�afficher en 4:3 de manière naturelle. Une image large sans pan scan reproduite en letter box. Un disque 4:3 est reproduit en 4:3. est

Lorsque l�on reproduit un disque au format large, les bandes noires sont ajoutées automatiquement en haut et en bas de l�image pour rendre celle-ci en 4:3. Un disque 4:3 est reproduit en 4:3.

Appuyer sur la touche ENTER pour valider.
Pour quitter l�écran de configuration et passer à l�écran de démarrage, il suffit de presser la touche SET UP tout en maintenant la touche SHIFT enfoncée ou de presser simplement sur la touche RETURN.
Note:
Si on sélectionne l�option 16:9 sur un téléviseur 4:3, l�image est allongée verticalement.
