Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

De machine start niet

Het centrifugeren begint traag

Kijk of u de vuldeur goed gesloten hebt. Kijk of de betreffende groepzekering heel is. Kijk of u de programmaknop juist ingesteld en de AAN/UIT-toets ingedrukt hebt.
Het elektronische stabilisatie-controlesysteem is in werking getreden. Het wasgoed wordt, doordat de draairichting van de trommel gewijzigd wordt, losgemaakt, beter verdeeld en er wordt opnieuw met centrifugeren begonnen. Dit kan herhaaldelijk het geval zijn, totdat de onbalans opgeheven is en het centrifugeren definitief afgewerkt kan worden. Indien het wasgoed na 10 minuten niet losgemaakt is, wordt het niet gecentrifugeerd. In dit geval moet u zelf het wasgoed beter in de trommel verdelen en opnieuw het centrifugeerprogramma kiezen.
De machine neemt geen water op:

Staat de waterkraan open? Geeft de kraan water? Probeert u dat even uit. Toevoerslang bekneld of geknikt geraakt? Toevoerfiltertje verstopt? Vuldeur goed gesloten?
De machine dreunt of is erg luidruchtig:

De machine neemt wel water op, maar dat stroomt er door de afvoer weer uit:

Zijn alle transportbeveiligingen verwijderd? Leunt de machine ergens tegenaan? Staan alle stelvoeten stevig op de vloer en zijn de contramoeren goed tegen de machinebodem gedraaid? Wasgoed niet goed verdeeld in de trommel?
Het uitstroomeind van de afvoerslang bevindt zich op een te laag punt, ten opzichte van de vloer waarop de machine staat. Raadpleeg het betreffende hoofdstuk.

De deur kan niet geopend worden De machine pompt niet af en/of centrifugeert niet:

Is de machine in bedrijf? Is de deur nog vergrendeld?
Afvoerslang bekneld of geknikt geraakt? Programma met spoelstop gekozen? Kunt u de storing niet zelf opsporen of verhelpen, raadpleegt u dan de servicedienst. Noteer, voor u gaat telefoneren, even merk, modelnummer en aankoopdatum van uw machine; de servicedienst zal u er om vragen.

Teveel wasmiddel gebruikt? Wasmiddel is ongeschikt omdat het teveel schuimt? Teveel schuim veroorzaakt lekkage. Een van de toevoerslangwartels lekt? U ziet nauwelijks dat er water langs de slang loopt; voelt u dus even of de slang nat is. Is de wasmiddelhouder schoon?

Misschien hebt u te weinig of te veel wasmiddel gedoseerd. Onderdosering leidt tot vergrauwing van het wasgoed en tot kalkaanslag in het toestel. Nauwkeuriger doseren! Hebt u bijzondere vlekken voorbehandeld? Hebt u het juiste programma en de juiste temperatuur gekozen? Is de machine overladen?
