Setting the clock
When your microwave oven is first plugged in, or after a power failure, the display will show � : �. If a time of day is not set, � : � will stay on the display until you set the clock or another function. NOTES: � You can only set the clock when the oven is not in use. � If you enter an incorrect time, three tones will sound, �Err,� then �0� will appear on the display. Re-enter the correct time. � If you touch OFF/CANCEL while setting the clock, the clock will return to the time already on the display.
Using the minute timer
Your microwave oven can be used as a kitchen timer. Use the minute timer for timing up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
1. Touch �0.�

At the end of timer countdown four tones will sound and the display will show �End�. NOTE: The minute timer can be used to set a delayed start time by following Steps 1 and 2 below, then set cook time as described in the �Cooking with more than one cook cycle� section.
