This manual covers the main equipment features only. While it also includes the procedure for saving and loading from the now long obsolete memory cards it does not mention the how to operate with the optional floppy drive interface so I am still at a loss about how to use this! Note that there is a separate manual covering the MIDI interface and programming via the keyboard, not included in this download. You will also need to get hold of this if you want to use the MIDI interface properly. Basically there is little difference between this manual and the free to download manual for the similar PR60 model.

Falling asleep to music
� Sleep Timer
You can set the system to turn off after a certain time, so that you can fall asleep to music.
Press SLEEP on the remote.
Each time you press the button, the display changes cyclically as follows:
x When playing a DVD
Current title number and the playing time t Current title number and the remaining time t Current chapter number and the playing time t Current chapter number and the remaining time t Clock display t BASS level t TREBLE level
x When playing a VIDEO CD/CD
Current track number and the playing time*1 t Current track number and the remaining time*1 t Playing time of the current disc*2 t Remaining time of the disc*2 t Track title*3 t Clock display t BASS level t TREBLE level
Each time you press the button, the minute display (the turn-off time) changes cyclically as follows: SLEEP OFF t AUTO* t 90min t 80min t � t 10min
* The system automatically turns off in 100 minutes or after the current CD or tape finishes playing.
Other operations
To Press
Checking the total playing time/titles (DVD/VIDEO CD/ CD)
Press DISPLAY on the remote in stop mode.
Check the remaining time**
SLEEP on the remote once.
Change the time SLEEP on the remote to select the to turn off time you want. Cancel the Sleep SLEEP on the remote repeatedly Timer Function until �SLEEP OFF� appears.
Each time you press the button, the display changes cyclically as follows: Total number of tracks and the total playing time t Disc title*3 t Clock display t BASS level t TREBLE level
*1 When playing VIDEO CDs with PBC functions, only the scene number and the playing time are displayed. *2 These are not displayed during Shuffle Play or Program Play. *3 With CD TEXT discs only (certain characters cannot be displayed). Depending on the disc, some CD TEXT information may not appear.
** You cannot check the remaining time if you select �AUTO�.
Note
Do not set to �AUTO� during Synchro Recording on a tape.
Sound Display Adjustment / Other Features
To scroll a long text
Press SCROLL on the remote.
Tip
You can check the current track title during playback. If you press SCROLL on the remote, a track title appears scrolling in the display. Press SCROLL on the remote at any point to stop scrolling. Press SCROLL on the remote again to restart the scrolling.
Note
Dependeing on the DVD, the disc information may not be displayed.
